Tax on Idle Land

The local government has the right to impose tax on idle land. This is to encourage the owners to make their property productive and contribute to the economy of the country.

For your property to avoid being penalized as idle, you should introduce improvements that can increase its value.

You don't need to build an actual fence. Planting vegetables, fruit-bearing trees, and ornamental plants are considered improvements under "The Urban Development and Housing Act of 1992".
